The long speculated two separate runs of “Breaking Bad” final season have been confirmed by the show’s lead actor, Bryan Cranston. “We’re splitting it,” the Emmy Award winner shared. “We’re going to shoot the first eight, then take a four-month production break, then the rest will air next year.”

AMC has not officially announced the split, but a studio spokesperson has said the four-month production hiatus is “one scenario” that’s being considered. According to Entertainment Weekly, the network “wants to divide the final season so it has a strong summer drama airing this year and the next.”
The first episode of the show’s fifth and last season is currently being shot in New Mexico. No premiere date is set for the upcoming installment yet, but actors of the critically acclaimed series believe it will return in July.
Dishing on the upcoming season opener, Cranston recently said, “We pick up right where we left off. We’re cleaning up the pieces from last season’s huge ordeal where Gus Fring was forced to meet his maker. It’s not as easy as Walter thought.”
“And as we’ve discovered over the years, you don’t really know who Walter White is,” he went on spilling. “I’m still discovering who he is and I’m trying to allow myself to be open to him going darker and darker. There’s physical danger to himself and his family, plus there’s the emotional danger due to his anger and hubris. It’s about the evil that men do and where that takes him.”
Casting company is seeking Extras for the 5th and last season of the hit AMC series “Breaking Bad“.
Shooting will start at the end of March 2012 in Albuquerque, NM.
SEEKING:
1.) MALES & FEMALES (18+; any ethnicity) – EXTRAS. All types;
2.) FEMALE (6-7 moths old; Caucasian) – BABY GIRL. To play Baby Holly. Must be blonde and blue eyed
With this week’s episode Breaking Bad episodes came to an end just for this season and the series will be coming back with another new season. This episode had all one could want in a finale episode be it action, thrill and excitement. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it and I guess all the fans agree with me. Read on to know more on the episode.
Breaking Bad Season 4 Finale episode started off from a not productive attempt of Walt and Jesse. After that Walt gets to know about Hector from Jesse where Gus often visits to taunt. Walter has a plan already in his mind but before he could execute it with Jesse, latter is taken for questioning about Brock’s poisoning.
Talking about Brock’s poisoning in this Breaking Bad Season 4 Episode 13 we finally came to know that actually the poisoning was not due to ricin cigarette but due to Lily of the Valley plant. And guess what where do we see this plant in the ending scene in Walt’s back yard. That means he was the one who did this to Brock so that he could get Jesse on his side that was something I never expected from him. But as before the season we heard that Walter is the danger this time so this proves it.
And not only poisoning a child but he is the one who cleverly brought Gus to his death and no matter how much Gus tried his wits to overcome it, he finally fell for it and died. Gus died in Breaking Bad
Season 4 Finale episode and in a bomb blast at Hector’s room. And with this Walter calls himself winner and he surely is after all this. But I really think what could be coming in the upcoming season as the meth lab is burnt and Gus is killed now what. We will see that once the new season starts.
Those who missed it can watch “Breaking Bad” online.
Another season of “Breaking Bad” ended with another death. After Jesse shot Gale in third season finale, the ultimate episode of season 4 sees [SPOILER ALERT!] Walt getting rid of his enemy, Gus, by setting a bomb strapped to the undercarriage of Hector’s wheelchair.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Giancarlo Esposito believed that his character Gus would somehow appear in the upcoming fifth season. “I have a feeling I might be back in Gus’ shoes,” he gushed. “There are lots of flashbacks on this show. Who knows what’s in store for next season? … In BB, people come back from the dead.”
Speaking of when he found out that his character would die in a gracious way, Esposito revealed that creator Vince Gilligan had shared the plan to him after they shot a few episodes of the season. “After we shot a few more shows, Vince called me in and said, ‘We’re gonna kill Gus, I wanted to let you know. It won’t happen till 413′.”
He went on detailing, “He gave me a full heads up. I said, ‘Well, okay, as long as it’s fantastic!’ He said, ‘It will be! We want to to blow your face off!’ We both thought it would be like Gus to survive an explosion for a few seconds – that he would button his jacket, straighten his tie – then just keel over and die. Vince came up with this brilliant way for me to leave – I give him full credit.”
Commenting on the scene which features the drug kingpin of the Southwest seemingly surviving the explosion before he falls down, Esposito claimed, “That shows you how tough Gus is. It’s a reveal when you see him. You’re shocked – and he looks pretty good – until he turns his head. It almost seems to go into the realm of the supernatural.”
On how Gus’ blown-up face was created, the 53-year-old actor elaborated the process, “I had to sit and have a cast of my head made. They put goop on my head, all over. I had tubes running out of my nose to breathe. Many actors can’t deal with the process, it’s quite claustrophobic.”
“They made a mold of my whole head. Then they created the cratered face mask on the side; I wore makeup in the actual scene, and they digitally matched the head to my face on film. They marked it with a sharpie and digital dots. It took five hours to create that head – it was a due process!”
Esposito additionally revealed he has been talking with Gilligan about directing an episode of “Breaking Bad” fifth season, which was planned to be the last for the series. As for his work outside the AMC show, he is producing and directing a film about reality TV with Jeremy Piven on the lead.
The season’s finale is round the corner that means soon the Breaking Bad episodes will be coming to an end but not forever as soon the series will be back with brand new season. Till the finale comes we have this week’s episode to discuss so read on to know more on it.
This week’s Breaking Bad Season 4 Episode 12 was titled “End Times” and though it had all that the fans wanted still it missed the main event I guess that the writers have left it for the finale. But none the less this episode was exciting and thrilling both. It started off with Hank and his family being given protection after the DEA comes to know about the danger to his life from a drug cartel. White family also gathers at Hank’s place except for Walter.
Walter himself stays back at home just to show his bravery by holding a gun for Gus’ gunman. In Breaking Bad Season 4 Episode 12 we saw both a brave and scared Walter.
Meanwhile Breaking Bad Season 4 Episode 12 showed that Hank’s people are searching the industrial Laundromat but come back empty handed. And Jesse once again warns Gus that if the latter harms Walt then former would not work for him but his views change as he finds out that Brock has been poisoned by ricin cigarette.
Jesse goes to kill Walt blaming him for Brock’s state but Walt convinces him that he is innocent. And finally we see in Breaking Bad Season 4 Episode 12 that the mentor, Walt and student, Jesse, are back together just to kill Gus. But bad luck he is not harmed. May be in the upcoming episode we see Gus dying.
So stay tuned and watch “Breaking Bad” online.
